We believe in what we do. We know that behind the statistics are people facing the real-life challenge of cancer. Not every e+ employee comes in daily contact with our patients, but we all share a desire to aid in their fight against cancer. One of the ways we do this is the e+Foundation. Formed by e+CancerCare, the e+Foundation provides employees and outside supporters a means to support cancer research, education, and financial need through charitable donations.
Led by a Board of Directors, the foundation is privileged to support the values of care and compassion by regularly reviewing requests for support and aggressively looking for opportunities to support those involved in beating this disease. The foundation is committed to delivering hope by sponsoring teams, underwriting seminars, awarding educational scholarships, supporting research, and providing financial aid to patients and their families. Over the past year, the foundation has supported over twenty events in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Tennessee. Participants walked, jogged, ran, wheeled, and lit it up for cancer education and research.
As a 501(c)3 Charitable organization, all contributions to the fund are tax deductible within IRS regulations.
“I have made it my goal to tell as many people as I can about the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the programs it offers. Blood cancer affects people of all ages, races, and sizes. It is because of groups such as e+ foundation that the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are able to provide these resources.”
